Parental Prayer, Monotheistic Religious Adherence Found to Correlate

Notable correlations were found between people adhering the Protestant, Catholic or Orthodox faiths and paternal, maternal prayer involvement when they were children.

Meanwhile, Pagans/Wiccans and Atheists tended to not have been prayed with relative to those who adhere to the major Monotheistic faiths.

Respondents were asked in Q7 "Throughout your childhood did your father do any of the following with you a few times or more? (Check all that apply.)"

One of the options was "Pray with you". A similar question was asked regarding respondent's mothers in question 9.

This is consistent with CRED theory which says that Credibility Enhancing Displays increase the likelihood that the behavior will be imitated into the future. Speculatively, it's plausible that parents who pray with their child also exert higher social pressure to maintain their adherence.
